Nutcracker Costumes Stolen from Ballet Company

This Grinch nearly stole “The Nutcracker”.

    FOX’s Jane Metzler has more:

It’s something tiny dancers look forward to each December, showing off their ballet moves in a production of “The Nutcracker”.

For many, “The Nutcracker” is Christmas, but this year in Rhode Island, Christmas very nearly was stolen from the Festival Ballet Providence…

This Grinch, whoever it was, broke into a warehouse in Pawtucket stealing 57 costumes from the Sugar Plum fairy’s tutu to the Nutcracker’s mask…

Ballet companies from around the country came through, lending costumes and props to the Providence dancers and the show did go on. And the Grinch gave several costumes to an attorney who turned them into police.
