“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” Tickets go on Sale, New Trailer Released
Tickets for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” went on sale today. Were you one of the lucky ones to get a seat?
FOX’s Jacquelyn Karl reports:
Tickets went on sale at midnight for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”, estimates have it taking in $150 million in it’s opening weekend, which would make it the second biggest December opening behind last year’s “Star Wars: the Force Awakens”.
Some on online though complained ticket sites weren’t ready to handle the demand, with 20-30 minute wait times for purchases to go through. But fans were treated to a new trailer, also released at midnight.
Starring Felicity Jones, this is the first in a series of standalone movies written to expand the universe created by George Lucas in the 1970’s.
