Georgia Jury Finds Father Guilty in Son’s Hot Car Death

A jury finds the Georgia father who left his toddler son to die in a hot car while he spent the day at work guilty of murder.

    FOX’s Eben Brown reports:

A Brunswick, Georgia jury now says Justin Ross Harris is guilty of the murder of his 22-month-old son, left in a sweltering SUV for an entire workday back in 2014.

Harris claimed he accidentally left the boy in the car, but prosecutors say Harris was seeking to leave his family, and had Google’d information about deaths in hot cars. Harris was also found to have been sexting strange women, some underage. The jury found him guilty on eight counts in total.

    He’ll be sentenced in December.
