Halloween’s over and we are rocketing straight to Christmas.
FOX’s Monica Rix tells us the world’s most famous Christmas tree will go up soon in New York:
Right now, the Norway spruce is sitting in a yard in Oneonta, a small city southwest of Albany, New York. It’ll be cut down on Nov. 10, arrive in Manhattan two days later.
But it’ll take a while to decorate, it’s wrapped in more than 50,000 multi-colored LED lights and topped with a Swarovski star.
The tree lighting ceremony, not till Nov. 30. By the way this is a decades-old tradition. The first Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting happened back in 1933.
