‘The Walking Dead’ Breathes New Life Into Ratings

A suspense bat bashing bloodbath gets big ratings for ‘The Walking Dead’.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

AMC’s hit ‘The Walking Dead’ is in its seventh season and it pulled in 17 million viewers. The premiere Sunday has its highest rating since last season.

The hit show returned to a controversial cliffhanger spoiler alert here: where we saw not one, but two of our favorite characters go down Abraham and Glenn, off by a man named Negan, who essentially tortured Rick as well.

The show tied its all-time ratings high with an average 17 million viewers tuning in on premiere night. That’s off just a bit from season five, which pulled off 17.2 million viewers in 2014.
