“Take Good Care of My Baby” 1960’s Pop Singer Bobby Vee Dead
Pop singer Bobby Vee has died.

(Vee) “Take good care of my baby.”
Bobby Vee, the singer whose career was born from a tragedy, has died. Vee’s career began when he took the stage as a teenager to fill in after the 1959 plane crash that killed rock `n’ roll stars Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. Richardson, also known as “The Big Bopper”:
(Vee) “The night has a thousand eyes.”
The 73-year-old, who’s hits included “Take Good Care of My Baby” as well as “The Night Has a Thousand Eyes”, died Monday of advanced Alzheimer’s Disease, according to his son. Vee was only 15-years-old when he took the stage in Minnesota, after that plane crash in Iowa. Vee died peacefully surrounded by family members.
