British Board Strips Tyson Fury of Boxing License
A British boxer has lost his license to fight by his home country.

One day after British boxer Tyson Fury relinquished his titles as the WBO and WBA heavyweight champion, the British Boxing Board of Control temporarily revoked Fury’s boxing license, suspended “pending further investigation into anti-doping and medical tissues.”
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, the 28-year-old boxer revealed that he’s binged on cocaine and alcohol for several months and also that he battles bipolar disorder. This news came after Fury was declared medically unfit to fight Vladamir Klichtchko later this month, the second time their rematch was postponed.
While Tyson Fury has an appeal scheduled for November to defend against a doping charge, his uncle and trainer, Peter Fury told BBC 5 Radio, “once he produces all of his records of what he’s been through, I don’t think the boxing board will have any option but to give him his license back.”
