How Much Would You Pay to Fight Global Warming?
How much are Americans willing to pay to the cause of climate change?

Most Americans are willing to pay more to fight global warming, but a new survey finds only a little bit more.
The AP/NORC survey says a majority of people wouldn’t mind paying an extra dollar a month on their electric bill for cleaner energy, but as the cost goes up, support for it plummets.
When the amount hits $10 a month, the majority of those asked, said no. Global climate change remains a partisan issue, 84% of Democrats and more than half the independents say its something to government needs to address, but only 43% of Republicans feel that way.
The survey was paid for by the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago.
