Florida Man Arrested for Making Gay Nightclub Threat
Police in Florida now have a man in custody they say made threats online directed towards a specific town known for it’s LGBT population. The online threats made reminders of this past summer’s massacre at an Orlando nightclub frequented by LGBT patrons.
FOX’s Eben Brown reports from Miami:
50-year-old Craig Jungwirth, from the Orlando area, will head to federal court to answer charges of threatening, via social media, a Pulse nightclub style attack in the Aouth Florida town of Wilton Manors, famous for embracing LGBT residents:
(Blocker) “We want to thank the members of our community that took this ‘see something, say something’ initiative and reached out to us.”
Wilton Manor’s police commander Gary Blocker. The online postings reportedly read the attack would be worse than Pulse.
A local newspaper says Jungwirth has a criminal history for mischief and skipping out on bar tabs at Wilton Manor nightclubs.
