Popular Entenmann’s Treat Recalled
A warning some of those chips in a chocolate chip snack may not be edible.

A popular Entenmann’s treat ‘Little Bites’ getting recalled. The snack maker saying there may be pieces of plastic in some varieties of fudge brownies and chocolate chip muffins.
These have a best by date of October 8, also recalled a variety pack containing blueberry muffins best by September 24.
Bimbo Bakeries which owns Entenmann’s says it got complaints from consumers who found plastic and one injury was reported, it says the problem stems from a manufacturing failure at a contract bakery in Illinois.
In 2014 Entenmann’s shut down its Long Island, New York, factory which had been turning out baked goods for more than 50 years.
