Nearly Half a Million Pounds of Curry Recalled

Concerns over curry should have you checking out your spice cabinet.

FOX’s Jill Nado has that from Washington:

Nearly 400,000 pounds of curry are being recalled because its maker says it’s tainted with lead. The curry from Oriental Packing Company of Miami was sold at retailers nationwide and it was available for sale on line, too.

The recalled curry goes by many brand names like Blue Mountain, Jamaican Choice, Grace and Oriental. The company says they’re not sure how the curry became contaminated yet, but they suspect it happened at the source, somewhere in India.

Head to the Food and Drug Administrations recall page for details.
