Hepatitis Outbreak Closes Sushi Restaurants
Officials in Hawaii are shutting down a string of sushi restaurants as they eye the source of a Hepatitis outbreak.

The Hawaii State Department of Health orders several Ghenki Sushi restaurants on Oahu and Kauai to close their doors immediately after citing that imported frozen scallops the restaurants use as a possible source of a hepatitis-A outbreak that’s sickened 168 people.
The hep-A virus, an infectious liver disease, is usually spread through fecal-contaminated food or drink or through close personal contact.
It’s Hawaii’s worst outbreak in more than two decades.
