Lights Will Go Out Soon on Disney’s Electrical Parade

A staple Walt Disney World in Florida will soon come to an end.

FOX’s Eben Brown reports:

Kids and adults visiting Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando have always done their best to stay at the park past sunset, waiting for the daily “Main Street Electrical Parade” and it’s string of floats decked out in thousands of upon thousands of colored light bulbs flashing synchronously with music and dancing performers.

Disney World says the parade, which has had several long runs since since the early 70’s both in Orlando and at California’s Disneyland, will end come October 9. The show moves back to Anaheim for short run and a companion parade will nightly show at Tokyo Disneyland. But no more at the Magic Kingdom.
