The Boss Turns 67 in Style with ‘Chapter and Verse’
Bruce Springsteen will be sharing a piece of his own birthday cake with his fans in September. The day he turns 67-years-old, the legendary rocker will release a new album titled ‘Chapter and Verse’ to go along with his 500-page autobiography ‘Born to Run’ that comes out a few days later.
FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:
A new compilation album will be released alongside the release of Bruce Springsteen’s 500 page autobiography. The new album is called ‘Chapter and Verse’, it will be released on September 23, before the book is released.
Tracks featured on the album date back to 1966, with two tracks from Springsteen’s teenage band…
The career-spanning album was selected by Springsteen to “reflect the themes and sections” of the book ‘Born to Run’. Springsteen writes, “that he has made one promise, to show the reader his mind and in these pages.” The Boss says, “I’ve tried to do this.”
