“Pokémon GO” Pandemonium Leads to New Movie

Hollywood jumps on the Pokemon bandwagon.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports from Los Angeles:

The first live action Pokemon film will start production next year. The film will be titled “Detective Pikachu.”

The game “Pokémon GO” became a global sensation and has caused all sorts of issues from people getting hurt, robbed and banned from parks and museums when it launched this month.

In the smartphone game players search for digital creatures that pop up on on their phones as they move through real-world locations. The character detective Pikachu was introduced in a video game in Japan.
