Sterling Family Speaking Out Against Violent Protests
The family of a Louisianan man seen being shot by two officers pinning him down to the pavement is now speaking out, including the dead man’s teenaged son.
FOX’s Eben Brown reports:
Alton Sterling’s death last week in the parking lot of a Baton Rouge convenience store sparked outrage around the nation and a Federal Civil Rights Investigation. Now his 15-year-old son is asking for anyone who protests, to be positive:
(Sterling) Not guns, not drugs, not alcohol, not violence. Everybody needs to protest in the right way, with peace. No violence. None whatsoever.
Cameron Sterling says he believes his father was a good man, and that his death should be used to highlight ongoing problems.
