A New Design for the GOP

The Republican National Convention is just around the corner, and they debuted a new logo for the occasion!

FOX’s Laura Ingle has more in this week’s Bonus Track:

The 2016 Republican National Convention kicks off in Cleveland, Ohio in just a matter of days.

And while Americans wait to watch the GOP�officially nominate the party’s candidates, many are noticing the eye catching new logo for this year’s event: the GOP�Party’s red elephant tusks up striding along the top of a blue electric guitar.

The logo designed by Falls Communications, a public relations firm in the city was inspired by Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the spirit of the city.

Some have suggested that the red elephant signifies the GOP taking over the predominately Democratic region by trampling over the blue guitar.

However, Rob Falls, CEO�and founder of Falls Communications tells me, the logo was designed more for the city’s long history with music and the elephant’s image is meant to be strong, eye catching, recognizable and cool.

Though most would agree Republicans are hopeful to win over Democratic voters while the convention is underway.
