Guy Benson: Joining us live from Alaska is US Senator Dan Sullivan, the real one, a Republican. Senator, welcome back to the show.
Sen. Dan Sullivan: Hey, Guy, great to be on the show. I’m campaigning hard out on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula in Alaska.
Guy Benson: It is such a breathtaking state and that’s why this breathtaking scandal is so ugly i mean i had been working under the assumption i said this on the air from for months that this whole you know fake sham dan sullivan guy that they got on the ballot was some sort of democratic plant it seemed very obvious to me i didn’t realize that they were just shamelessly lying about it constantly and then the lie blew up because the new york times had the goods on them And then Peltola comes out. And I’m sure you’ve seen the clip. She comes out late yesterday. For anyone who missed it, cut 34. Here’s the double down.
Mary Peltola: I just want to clear the air. I knew nothing about any other candidates on the ballot except for me and the incumbent. That is all I have ever known about. I am not interested in tricking voters.
Guy Benson: Well, the New York Times sources said exactly the opposite, including someone on the record who said she was, quote, definitely aware. What do you think about that double or triple down there?
Sen. Dan Sullivan: Yeah, look, Paltola’s campaign has been all about lies, and she’s lying to the Alaskan people again. And, Guy, this is what you do when you have a campaign and a record that you can’t run on, right? She was a failed congresswoman, two terms in the House, not one bill signed into law. And look, here’s what happens normally when someone runs for office. They kind of say, all right, I’m going to put together my record. I’m gonna put together, my vision. I’m to get together with my advisors and lay out what I want to get done for Alaska. You know what Peltola did six months before she even announced her run. She got together with her advisors for sure. Her campaign advisors, including the campaign chair or her, um, who’s been a long time aid to her. Who’s the one who said on the records Peltol definitely knew. And the senior Democrat officials from Schumer’s operation. And they didn’t put together a plan for their record. They put together plan, a secret plan on how to cheat Alaskans out of their votes. I mean, it’s just breathtaking. Then they’ve spent a year lying. Peltola is, of course, lying. Here’s the thing. I mean you may have seen there was a uh… Of tweet that she put out recently where she said it should be a criminal offense to lie or mislead the electorate she put that out as she was lying in misleading the electorates right and so i’d like to know
Guy Benson: Lock her up would be her position based on what she has done here. And she’s also, I saw like literally yesterday, in light of all of this, she was still like sort of trying to like tweet through it and tweeted something about that she’s running for US Senate to quote, fix the rigged system. Like, excuse me, madam. I would maybe shy away from any, you know, bravado about stopping rigged systems in light of what we now know.
Sen. Dan Sullivan: She is the rig system and we’ve known that, but I will tell you, even the, and we all knew that they were coordinating with the fake Dan Sullivan, but this reporting by the way, is so detailed. It’s 12 different people, it’s her top aides, it is emails, it text messages. And look, Guy, one of the most important elements of this is it just shows how much disdain and contempt Peltola and her staff have for Alaskans. Think about it. Like I said, her first big meeting… Was to say, let’s figure out how we can cheat and trick Alaskans to throw away their vote to rig it for her. And look, if you read the New York Times, and I encourage all Alaskan’s to read the New York times, by the way, you know, we, we are, we’re campaigning for, of course, Republicans and independents, but Democrats, right? I have prominent Democrat elected officials in Alaska who have already endorsed me And we’re going to get more because although we might have some policy differences, most Democrats in Alaska don’t want to elect a senator who holds the people of Alaska in such contempt and then lies to them. But there’s a part of that New York Times story talks about the Peltola campaign put some advisors together for a focus group of Alaskans, okay? So they’re testing how they can trick Alaskan with a focus. I mean, this is detailed stuff of their overall secret scheme. And then in the New York Times article, these Peltol advisors make fun of the Alaskians on how easily they’re going to be duped and fooled. Yep. We’re not laughing, Mary. You think that we’re dumb as Alaskans? You’re insulting every person in our state. Read the article, Alaska. It’s a shocker, and it’s clearly disqualifying in terms of character, lying, fraudulent behavior. That’s all about tricking Alaskan’s, and they it all along.
Guy Benson: And one of the offended Alaskans is your colleague, Lisa Murkowski, who Mary Peltola is like sort of pretending like she’s BFFs with Murkowsky. Murkoski came out and slammed the lies and the deception here. Very quickly, before I let you go, we have about a minute left. You have that unusual top four rank choice voting system. They’ve got this other fake Dan Sullivan guy as one of those four, also running as a Republican, to try to siphon votes away from you to help Peltolla. How can Alaskans who don’t want to be part of this whole scheme, how can they avoid it? What should they do on their ballots?
Sen. Dan Sullivan: Well, rank me first, okay, and it’s Sullivan, comma, Dan S., registered Republican incumbent. Okay? Rank me first. Rank the guy who’s another Republican named Hikeys second, and guy, it pains me to say this, but the best way for us to win is to rank the fake guy third, the decoy.
Guy Benson: And then don’t rank Mary at all. Don’t rank Peltola at all, blank. Thank you, Senator. We gotta run.
