California GOP gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton joins FOX Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his closing message to voters in California who are fed up with the status quo and want to see real changes made in the Golden State.
“All the polls show one thing, which is that there’s a majority who say the state’s going in the wrong direction needs change. And so the very simple point at the end of this video that we just put out this morning is this, right? Are you really going to put up with another four years of this just because you don’t like Trump and you can’t bring yourself to vote Republican? That is effing insane. It’s insane to put up with this just because of those feelings. And that’s really what we’re trying to overcome and our entire campaign really at this point is focused on two things, those people who know we need to change, we need to get their vote. That’s why the you know the sort of simple slogan at the end is just try it Right we’ve been doing the same thing for 16 years. It’s time for something different Just try it for four years. You know if you don’t like it go back fine. No problem You’re still going to have Democrats running the state legislature, you’re definitely going to have a Democrat running L.A., though what’s the harm in trying just some little bit of balance? That’s the message to those people, but the real message to everyone else, and Republicans in particular, is go out and vote. This is a winnable race if we all show up and vote, don’t just give up and believe the polls and all the people saying it can’t be done. It can, if we show up and vote.”
