President Trump’s border czar Tom Homan joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to discuss the Department of Homeland Security’s recently announced partnership with the state of Indiana to expand ICE detention space by 1,000 beds.
“I mean, I’ve been serious about this from day one. I said we need 100,000 beds at a minimum. Now that we’re bringing more resources on, we’ve got big, beautiful bill passed, more agents are joining our forces, we need more beds. On any given day, there’s days I wake up, we have 200, 300, maybe 400 beds that are empty, ready to go. We’ll fill them in a day. So. We’re always chasing our tail on this, so yeah, we need to bring on more facilities. I want there to be bigger facilities. A thousand beds are a great help, and I’m glad that governors are stepping up on this. But we really need some bigger facilities, 3,000 and 4,000 beds, makes it more efficient. It’s a smoother operation, and have it right next to an airstrip so we can deport people quickly. But yeah, I’ll be happy once we have 100,000 because I think that’s the minimum we need, to actually execute the largest deportation operation in American history.”
