Florida Republican Congressman Byron Donalds joins Fox Across America With Jimmy to give his take on the anti-ICE protesters who have been wreaking havoc on the streets of Los Angeles over the past few days.

“You look at Gavin Newsom or my former colleague, Karen Bass, and they’re out there promoting this stuff or saying that bringing in a National Guard is escalating the conflict. No, it’s not. What escalates the environment is when cars are lit on fire. That’s kind of an accelerant for having a protest turn into a riot. And so you have to take these things seriously. You gotta stop them early, because what they’ve now done is given a green light to these nutty groups and the funders of these nutsy groups, by the way, to say, well, they’re allowing it in LA and look at all the press we’re getting. So now we’re gonna expand it. But I’m telling you, Ron DeSantis ain’t gonna let this happen in Florida. And if I’m successful, it’s not gonna happen in Florida. We’re not gonna put up with that mess. We’re gonna have a civil society based upon the rule of law, based upon human liberty, based upon respecting other people. You don’t get to just take over the whole place and riot because you don’t like a political outcome or a policy decision.”

Rep. Donalds, who is a gubernatorial candidate in the Sunshine State, also discusses the latest timetable for the House-passed “big, beautiful bill”, and when he expects the massive piece of legislation to arrive on President Trump’s desk. To hear their full discussion, check out the podcast!
