Host of “My View with Lara Trump” Lara Trump joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her thoughts on the executive order President Trump is expected to sign on Thursday that will abolish the Department of Education.
“People really actually don’t understand, I think just at a basic level, that Department of Education does not actually educate anyone. They give funding throughout the country to different states to, you know, the school programs, the school boards, etc. but they’re not educating anyone. And, you know, whenever you look at the start of this whole thing, the Department of Education, over 40 years ago, our kids have actually done worse and we’ve paid more money. And so something is obviously not working there. And that’s why President Trump has said for a long time, I don’t know, maybe we need to do away with this thing. I know we have a big announcement, I think coming up later today. He’s going to give a speech about it. I actually have Linda McMahon, the Education Secretary on ‘My View’ on my show 9 p.m. on Saturday this weekend, because I want to talk about it. Because it’s important. This our future generation. We got to do right by these kids.”
