Evening Edition: Trump Orders Dismantling Of The Education Department

President Trump signs an Executive Order today to eliminate the Education Department, fulfilling a campaign promise he made multiple times. The order directs Education Secretary Linda McMahon to take action to close the department and return education authority to the states and local governments. The executive order needs congressional approval and will have to overcome a likely Democrat filibuster.
