“Incoherent, Disorganized, & Divided”: Democrats Struggle Post-2024 Defeat

A new CBS poll shows that over 50 percent of Americans approve of President Donald Trump’s performance in his first few weeks in office. While the GOP continues to reap the benefits of their supermajority, the Democrats are still struggling to recover from their losses. Democratic strategist, pollster, and co-author of the book, “America: Unite or Die,” Douglas Schoen joins to break down why the Democratic party is “incoherent and disorganized,” why their progressive policies have gone too far, and their struggle to recover from 2024.

President Trump laid out new tariffs on imported steel and aluminum, setting the rates at 25 percent for each, raising concerns about the impact it could have on consumers. President Trump has insisted that the tariffs will protect American business and that Americans may feel “a little” pain initially when it comes to consumer goods.
