Fox News contributor Joey Jones joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give his take on the questions that are being raised over how Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has previously represented his military service.
“There’s kind of three facets to this issue, and I don’t want them to get conflated. JD Vance did not conflate them, but the media did it for him. No one is saying that Walz’s service is less honorable because it didn’t involve combat. No one saying that. Anyone saying that, I’m not listening to. That’s not the point. The honor of your service, especially if you enlist or re-enlist or in a time of war, is in the fact that you volunteered to do it. That’s the honor. Everything that happens after that is circumstantial. And so going to war, not going to war. Listen, if you put work into avoiding war, I mean, that’s between you, God, and the guys you served with. Unless you run for VP I guess. But so the point here isn’t that he didn’t go to combat. The point is that he’s diminishing his own service by essentially saying what he did wasn’t good enough, so I need to lie about adding combat.”
Jimmy and Joey also talk about how certain Democratic lawmakers such as former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi lack self-awareness. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they discussed!
