Fox News Political Analyst Gianno Caldwell joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his reaction to President Biden’s decision to step down as the Democratic Party’s 2024 nominee.
“I think that Trump has the upper hand here. But for them, it was a consideration of not just the presidency but the down ballot races as well. Senate, House of Representatives, etc., and other local races. So if they felt like Republicans were going to be able to take as many of those races as possible, and it would take, you know, some time for them to really be able to build back better, if you will, with they haven’t done that. We’ve been broke, essentially. They were going to need to replace that person, and that person is Joe Biden. But Kamala Harris isn’t much better. But I believe Kamala Harris is going to divorce herself from Joe Biden and all of his policies. She’s going to say, oh, on immigration, on the border. Well, I only did what Joe Biden wanted me to do as president. That is my role to do what the president wants me to do. I would have done this differently. I would have done inflation differently. I would have supported this policy. She’s going to try to give ourselves a fresh slate, but I don’t believe it’s going to work.”
Jimmy and Gianno also talk about who Vice President Harris could pick as her running if she does ultimately secure the Democratic Party’s nomination. To hear what else they discussed, listen to the podcast!
