Co-Anchor of “America’s Newsroom” Bill Hemmer joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give us his assessment of what to expect during next week’s debate in Atlanta between former President Trump and President Biden.
“I’ve looked at all the conditions for this debate I have yet to find. how long you have to answer a question. Is it 30 seconds? Is it a minute? Is it two minutes? Yeah. This is really a test of ability now. You cannot go in there with a single note. But you will have waiting for you a pen and a pad of paper. And some of these pros said, if you observe a politician who has those conditions applied to them, the first thing they do when they get to the podium is start writing, because they’re taking their talking points fresh out of the green room to make sure that they get that out during the debate. What if this is a two minute answer? I present two scenarios for you right now. Can Biden remember the topic over a period of two minutes? Conversely, can Trump stay on message for two minutes and stick the landing? And I contend he who stays succinct and sticks the landing will win next Thursday night.”
Jimmy and Bill also discuss what qualifications they think Trump is looking for in a running mate. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they talked about!
