Co-host of “The Big Money Show” on Fox Business Brian Brenberg joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain what he thinks the response should be to the anti-Israel protests taking place on many college campuses throughout the country.
Well, first of all, there are people giving them a lot of money with these endowments. I mean, Columbia’s is like 14 billion. Harvard’s is three times that. People write checks to endowments, like they’re writing a check to the thing that they used to go to. You know, so you had a wonderful experience in 1950s Columbia. And you’ve somehow, over time lost the ability to understand that it’s not that way anymore. And you write the big check and you think you’re funding something else. I don’t know what. You’re not. But then they have the audacity to take in billions of dollars in government funding. This has been my thing, I’ve been all over this. There’s no uptake on this idea. I’ve peddle this to every politician who’s been on the show. I said, why don’t you just cut federal funding for these places? Stop paying for this. If they want to do it, they can do it on their own dime. Just make everybody do their things on their own dime. And I will tell you that 99% of the stupid stuff will dry up.”
Jimmy and Brian also discuss your radio buddy’s recent trip to Yankee Stadium with Lincoln. Listen to the podcast to hear everything they talk about!
