Evening Edition: Deadline To End Protests At Columbia University Passes
Pro-Palestinian protesters have defied an afternoon deadline to leave a tent encampment on campus. The defiance comes as the number of students and antisemitic agitators arrested at nationwide demonstrations has approached 900. Columbia has told students they will be suspended if they do not follow instructions to leave and the anti-Israel groups are calling on their schools to end any investments in companies that support Israel’s military and their military operation in Gaza.
