Former Michigan gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain how President Biden is gaslighting voters on the actual causes of inflation.
“It’s on brand for them to think that they can tell you what you see every day, what you suffer with every day is actually not happening. This is this is the number one way to gaslight someone is to say, when you go to the grocery store, even though you’re paying $1,000 more a month than you were when Donald Trump was in office, it’s really not that bad. I mean, once you get to this point of inflation, you don’t roll it back. And the problem is now we’re getting these numbers and saying, oh, inflation is picking up again. We’ve got an uptick in inflation. How are they going to spin that? How are they going to say, okay, the economy is great under Joe Biden? They can’t because people feel it every day. And even more so in Michigan, in the Midwest, we’re feeling it because we’ve got higher gas prices than anyone in the Midwest. We’ve got higher energy prices. So you include your utility prices, your gas prices, and then you go to the grocery store and it’s more expensive. People here are really, really struggling. And they’re going, you got to be kidding me. You think I’m going to believe that my inflation is down?”
