Evening Edition: O.J. Simpson, Athlete Acquitted Of Murder, Dies Of Cancer
Orenthal James Simpson, once a beloved college athlete, winning the Heisman while playing at USC and then a feared player in the NFL, has died at the age of seventy six. He went from fame to infamy after the brutal murder of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman which he would stand trial for. O.J. Simpson was acquitted but the trial captivated the nation with racial and domestic violence issues.
