Ortagus had this to say on Biden’s Afghanistan withdraw and the consequences of the sloppy process:
“I find it utterly disgusting that none of them can take responsibility for what happened that day. So fast forward, they went against the advice of all the military commanders, which was to leave 2500 American troops to leave a residual force. They pull everybody out and big shock. What happens? ISIS-Khorasan, which is the affiliate in Afghanistan, starts to grow, starts to fester. And they have the time. They have the space, they have the money, they start to develop the capabilities. And so now they have what we know so far is that they are behind this attack in Russia.”
