Breaking News: Women Do More Housework Than Men

A study shows women do over 6 thousands dollars worth MORE of UNPAID housework compared to men!

If you’re surprised by this, you’re probably not married.

I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.

Gender roles might be evolving but according to a new study by home cleaning service “Homeaglow,” women are still putting in most of the work.

This study relied on the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Time Use Survey and hourly wage data to determine that women- on average- are doing over $6,400 more of UNPAID house labor than men, annually.

This disparity exists even though men have increased their housework load by almost 35% since 2003.

Even so, women are still picking up more of the chores and more of the slack around the house.

The data also revealed that Alaskans spend the most time on housework of any state but that state also has the biggest disparity of time spent between men and women.

New Mexico is the state with the closest “housework equality.”

Women cleaning the home…some things will never change!
