Anchor of “Fox News Sunday” Shannon Bream joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give her take on when the Supreme Court could rule on whether former President Trump is immune from criminal prosecution in the federal election interference case brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith.
“I don’t think this one’s going to be 9-0, of course. So I think where you’ve got splits, it gets tougher because the opinion that we got Monday on the Colorado situation was relatively brief and to the point, I think something on the issue of presidential immunity, which has never been decided before, I think it’s going to take more time. I think that it is one of those things that unless something really unusual happens and the court doesn’t like to be pushed by outside exigent circumstances, they had to Monday. They didn’t have to, but they did, you know, in a way, when it came to the voting for Super Tuesday with Colorado. But I think they’re going to take their time on the thing. And so if it gets to the end of June, I’d expect that’s where it’s going to land. And then of course, only then does the trial court un-pause from putting everything on hold they did there, which means months of getting ready for that trial.”
Jimmy and Shannon also discuss the very likely 2024 rematch between Trump and President Biden. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they had to say!
