Rep. Kat Cammack On A Government Shutdown: Biden Will Determine Where Funds Are Cut
Florida Republican Congresswoman Kat Cammack joins Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla to explain how partisan divisions on Capitol Hill will impact government spending leading up to the March 1st partial shutdown deadline.

“Almost every quarter, there seems to be some crisis with the government shutdown or a potential one. And I think this one actually will happen because you’ve got folks on one side who say we should do a continuing resolution and take a cut, and then you’ve got others that say, we need to do the appropriations. Now, count me in on the we need to do our job, do the appropriations camp, because the notion of a CR, a continuing resolution would keep the Nancy Pelosi Chuck Schumer policies alive and well. And they say, oh, but we’ll just cap it. We’ll cap it. We’ll cut it. Guess what? You know who gets to determine where those cuts come from? Joe Biden. And if you think for one second he’s not going to make conservatives around the country pay for it and keep his policies intact, then, you know, you’re just living in la la land. So, you know, it’s really, really depressing this week. I hate to be that person.”

Jimmy and Rep. Cammack also discuss California Governor Gavin Newsom’s role in the upcoming presidential election, and whether President Biden could benefit from an actor filling in for him on the campaign trail. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they talked about!
