McCarthy had this to say on the significance of Trump’s civil trial:
“(Trump’s) got a big problem with money. You know, I always told people who are looking at the criminal prosecutions don’t go to sleep on the civil fraud case because that could be an existential event for Trump. And I believe it still could.”
