Democratic strategist Kevin Walling joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why he fully believes President Biden is all in on running for re-election, despite recent concerns over his memory that were brought up in Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report.
“Listen, Joe Biden is a guy, you know, he first ran for president in the 80s, right? He’s wanted to be president for a long time. He is finally president. You think he’s going to willingly, not run for reelection while he has Air Force One and the White House and the ability to make change for people? He’s not going to do that. And again, I think, you know, I trust the president. I trust Dr. Biden to make assessments for his health. You know, he’s traveling, like he’s in Pittsburgh right now. He’s in Ohio dealing with the train spill. He’s on the road quite a bit. Politico had this headline, you know, ‘Get Joe Biden out of His Cocoon’. The man traveled to like, 18 states in the last three weeks. So, I mean, and again, you can debate whether that press conference in the wake of the Hur, thing did him any favors or sometimes the speeches that he gives. Again, part of it is like, he’s got to get down the road more. Oh, no, he’s got to go back behind the scenes more. I’m like a, let Biden be Biden, gaffes and Mexico and Egypt leaders mixed up and all. And again, like he says, compare him to the alternative and not the Almighty. And, you know, we’ll see how that process plays out.”
Kevin and Jimmy also discuss how former President Trump’s legal issues are likely to factor into the 2024 election. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
