Last night, voters in Iowa cast their ballots across the state, choosing which candidate they were going to support on the 2024 presidential campaign trail. Former President Trump ran away with first place in historic fashion, leaving Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley to battle head-to-head for second. DeSantis ultimately edged out Haley, but not by much — beating her by just 2.1%.
Former Tennessee Congressman Harold Ford Jr. and host of ‘The Ben Domenech Podcast’, Ben Domenech join to discuss which candidate, besides Vivek Ramaswamy, could be next to drop out, and how the results in Iowa could impact the rest of the GOP primary race, if at all.
Later, they speak about a certain conservative voter base that adamantly stands against Nikki Haley, and how their push to get her out may impact the race moving forward.
