“He inherited the most secure border in our lifetime. And the White House spokesperson, she’s wrong. She’s not even close to being right. What the Biden administration is asking for is more money, and it’s not to do enforcement work, it’s to have more people down through the process quicker and release quicker. Not a single dollar is going to go toward enforcement efforts. And that’s what we need right now. Look, this isn’t a money issue. People need to understand that. This is a policy issue. They’ve got the same number of agents we had during the Trump administration. We had illegal immigration to a 45-year low. Not a money issue, not a manpower issue. It’s a policy issue. If they simply change the policy back to what the Trump administration was doing, they could secure this border.”
