The U.S. House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, formerly the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis, is a bipartisan select subcommittee created to provide congressional oversight of the Trump administration’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.
Once Republicans flipped the House, members voted to continue the committee, but its purpose changed to investigate the origins of the virus, COVID-19 policies made by the government, and most importantly for this story…nursing home mortalities.
Chairman Brad Wenstrup (OH-02) and Ranked Member Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) discuss where the committee is in its progress to examine what went right and what went wrong during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
