Florida Republican Congresswoman Kat Cammack joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her reaction to former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announcing that he is resigning from his Congressional seat in California.
“You know, I told Patrick McHenry yesterday, and I have not seen Kevin yet today, but I told him, there will be no going away party. There will be a roast. If we’re going to do this, we’re going to do it right. And nothing is off the table. It is going to be full blown roast. We’re going to have some fun with it. But we really are in the clown car. I mean, we’re now within two of losing our majority. And I remind folks, last Congress, we lost five members who died. We are literally a heart attack or a family emergency away from losing the House floor to the Democrats. And so I know that while a lot of people are excited about Kevin leaving, I just remind them that the majority that we have here in the House of Representatives, it’s slim at best.”
Rep. Cammack and Jimmy also discuss what the presidents of Harvard, MIT and UPenn said about antisemitism on their campuses during testimony before the House Education and Workforce Committee on Tuesday. To hear what else she had to say, listen to the podcast!
