Florida Republican Congresswoman Kat Cammack joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to talk about when she thinks the House could elect a new speaker, after House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan lost the second round of voting on Wednesday afternoon.
“Well listen, that is the most awful, thankless job in America. And so I think we’re going to nominate the person that we all hate the most next. I can’t think of anyone who really wants to do that job right now because, you know, at this point in time, the motto in Congress is, they’re not going to settle for good. They need perfect. And in such tight margins, I mean, the reality is you need 98 percent in order to get across the finish line. Kevin McCarthy was at 96, Jim is at 90 and it’s not looking good. I’ll say that.”
Plus, Rep. Cammack gives her take on why an alarming number of students on college campuses across the country are expressing support for Hamas’ brutal attack against Israel. To hear what else she had to say, listen to the podcast!
