Co-Anchor of “America’s Newsroom” Bill Hemmer joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give his take on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ performance in last week’s 2024 GOP presidential debate.
“I felt in that debate he was quite effective. And I’ll tell you when he was effective, 10:02 East Coast time on the issue of education. Boom. Knocked it out of the park. Came on my program the next day. We were tap dancing in and out of a hearing on the Capitol Hill, and he came on for 12 minutes. And I thought he was sharp. Ron DeSantis will never say uh or um, never happens. He just barrels right through his answers. He’s got a lot of policy ideas to talk about. His campaign hinges on getting to all 99 counties in Iowa. And he’s going to do it within a month. He’s going to make a big deal out of It’s going to be a big splash, I would guess. I don’t think any of the candidates are going to do that. And I think it leaves an impression on the folks who will caucus in Iowa.”
