Why in the heck is Gavin Newsom coming to this week’s second GOP debate?

The second GOP debate will go down on Wednesday night in Southern California and while that is Greasy Gavin Newsom’s backyard, why the hell is he attending the debate on behalf of Team Biden?
Yeah that’s right, Team Joe has summoned Newsom to attend the debate and deliver response and pushback on Republican talking points and comments.
If you live under a rock you might just find this to be an interesting tactic and coincidence, but if you’ve been paying attention for the last 6 months like I have, you know as I know that this is more than a Gavin Newsom “special assignment.”
This is just another prong of Newsom’s soft launch into presidential candidacy, 2024 Democrat presidential candidacy to be exact.
He’s been running a shadow campaign for months, appearing on FoxNews, attempting to move to the middle on certain pieces of radical California legislation, and completing a red state speaking tour.
He’s running, folks.
