South Carolina Senator and 2024 GOP presidential candidate Tim Scott joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his reaction to the Biden administration reaching a deal with Iran to swap prisoners and release $6 billion in frozen Iranian funds.

“Unbelievable. I came really close to calling the White House to say, please resign. I mean, frankly, the apology tour for how bad the economy is would have been great because the American people deserve an apology from this president, from the disaster of our economy. I mean, just recently thinking back over the fact that just two years ago, last month, we saw the most remarkable, disgusting withdrawal from Afghanistan that left 13 American soldiers dead. And here we are with this president once again embarrassing us. It is hard to appreciate how disastrous his leadership has been for this country.”

Senator Scott also criticizes President Biden and Vice President Harris for their approach to the crisis at the U.S. Southern border.

“You know, the fact of the matter is that their definition of control is their definition. It’s a similar definition that they used in the Inflation Reduction Act that actually increased inflation, made the average American lose thousands of dollars of spending power. Yes. The definition of control is an unsafe, insecure, wide open border that’s led to the deaths of 70,000 Americans in just 12 months. I can’t think in their completely alternative version of reality a better definition of controlling the border than an unsafe, insecure, wide open border. The president wants us to believe what he says, despite what we can see with our own eyes. And frankly, can you imagine with the end of Title 42 seeing 10 million illegal crossings in the next two years under this president?”
