House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has announced that House Republicans will be launching a formal impeachment inquiry into President Biden as Congress returns to session. Meanwhile, there are just 11 days to pass a short-term funding bill to avoid a government shutdown.

Washington Bureau Chief for USA Today, Susan Pagemember of the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board and Former Chief Speechwriter for President George W. Bush Bill McGurn, and FOX News Senior Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram join to discuss why Speaker McCarthy has decided to launch a formal impeachment inquiry and how it could factor into the votes to fund the government.

Later, they discuss the validity of the allegations against President Biden, how an impeachment of the President would compare to the impeachments of former President Trump, and how Democrats may benefit from a government shutdown.
