We’re Momming Today with Olivia Barnard, a single mom and realtor living near Austin, Texas. After chatting with other like-minded residents at her school district’s board meetings, Olivia was inspired to not only take more action in her community, but to run for and ultimately win a spot on her school’s board. She’s sharing the top concerns for parents in her district, including masking students and the curriculum regarding race and gender identity, and how these issues motivated a newfound activism among parents in her community.
