Former NYPD inspector Paul Mauro joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain how he started to get an inclination on Tuesday night that Hunter Biden’s plea deal with the Department of Justice was going to fall apart during his first court appearance Wednesday morning.
“The deal that he was getting has never been made public. And, you know, they were very clearly hiding that ball. And I was trying to sort of drive the story as to what was really in it. I was hoping they were going to drop it last night. And the reason for that is that depending on how expensive the plea deal is, they can double jeopardy him out of a lot of stuff. So I know a lot of the Right thinks, okay, well, ultimately, if we get the Senate, we get the House, we get the White House, we’re going to be able to delve into the shenanigans of Hunter Biden and the Biden family writ large. But there was the strong possibility that the plea deal was so sort of global regarding some of the his financial shenanigans that even if they did have a charge against him in the future, he’d be double jeoparded out because of the plea deal. So, I was watching for the plea deal, hoping it came out because it should have been out. But instead, I start to see this drama develop on the docket of first, the House Ways and Means Committee dropping over 400 pages of evidence that they’ve gathered. And then, of course, this crazy story of allegedly, one of Hunter’s lawyers calling up the court clerk, pretending to work for the House Ways and Means attorney, asking for that evidence to be rescinded.”
Plus, Paul talks about why all this legal drama surrounding the first son could ultimately be traced back to President Biden. Listen to the podcast to hear what else he had to say!
