Co-host of “Fox & Friends” Ainsley Earhardt joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to discuss the new Fox Nation Special “Who Is Tim Scott?”, in which she examines the humble upbringing of the popular South Carolina Senator and recently-declared 2024 GOP presidential candidate.
“He’s a really nice person. I’m not aware of any controversy in his life. And, you know, I’ve gone down there and interviewed him a lot. He’s a really strong Christian. He goes to a big church in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, that has grown all over South Carolina. But it originally started there in Mount Pleasant. It’s called Seacoast Church, and it’s fabulous. He’s really good friends with the pastor, Greg Surratt and his son Josh Surratt, and they have Bible studies. He’s just a solid guy, is really well liked in the Charleston area and in the South Carolina area. He uses this phrase from cotton to Congress because his ancestors were slaves. And here he is, you know, running for House and running for Senate. And he’s the first African-American from South Carolina to serve both chambers, and now running for president of the United States. It’s the all-American story.”
Plus, Ainsley and Jimmy share their thoughts on theĀ current state of the 2024 GOP presidential primary race. To hear what else she had to say, listen to the podcast!
