Fox News contributor Karl Rove joins Fox Across America With guest host Paul Gleiser to give his take on the expanding 2024 GOP presidential primary field, and why nominating former President Trump again might not be the best strategy for beating President Biden in the general election.
“It’s too early to tell, but I think it’s going to be easier to get it with a new face than an old face. That is to say, what is Donald Trump done in the last three years that has convinced somebody who voted for Joe Biden or sat it out in 2020 to come out and vote Republican in 2024? So I don’t know if that’s DeSantis. He’s certainly got a great record as governor. I don’t know if that’s Tim Scott. I don’t know if that’s Nikki Haley. I don’t know if it’s somebody else that we haven’t been talking about or really paying attention to. But we’ll have a better shot at picking up the White House in 2024, in my opinion, if we have somebody who’s focused on the future, not on the past, who’s a fresh face that is able to say, you know what, it’s time for a generational change.”
Plus, Karl tells Paul why he does not believe Biden will be the Democratic Party’s nominee in 2024. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
